March is marching on

How's it going? I'm going pretty good. Took a couple days off because I'm trying to get rid of a little cold. Eleanor is in her room playing in her bed, hopefully not stripping. I am fine with her playing as long as she isn't crying then we are good. She is supposed to be taking a nap but I guess I didn't wear her out enough this morning.

Lately she has been into this stripping phase. A couple times last week I went in the morning and she was naked, funny the first time, not so funny the second time when she wakes you up at 4 in the morning and she peed on herself and she is shivering. Not so funny. So now I safety pin her pajamas at night, but you can't do that when she lays down for a nap, so I hope she doesn't strip today.

Warren is out of town to LA this weekend. He has a financial class next to LAX airport. So it is just Ella and I for the weekend. He has another one next weekend, I'm trying to decide if I want to go to, I'd love to hit up the garment district again and see if I can find anything really cool.

The craft fair is doing well, I went to a meeting yesterday and we have about 54 vendors signed up so it will be a good size. I'm trying to get my hair clips ready but I am also procrastinating.

A couple weeks ago we left Ella at my parents house while we went out to dinner, when we got back we talked for a bit and while we were hanging out Eleanor fell and hit her head on the corner of the wall.  Warren was holding her and then I looked at it and almost had a heart attack because it was sticking out a half inch and was this huge bubble on her forehead. It almost broke then skin so we would have had a huge bloody mess but luckily it didn't. Still, I freaked out and we called our nurse line and I put ice on it. She was fine except for this Lovely bruise that lasted like 3 weeks. Then the bruise sank down in her eyes so she has green on the inside corners of her eyes. I think she looks like a vampire. If I had some vampire teeth it would make a great photo.

I subbed at my mom's school for a couple days and they were having spirit week. One day was rock and roll day so I had fun dressing up. The kids asked who I was, I said I was one of the many aspiring rockers that never made it. :) That was a fun day.

Alright, now that I've done a little update I need to go work on my hairclips, Hope you have an awesome day!

  1. You are alive! That's exciting your craft show is already sounding successful. Do you make those headband things that look like headwarmers?

  2. :) Ha ha, Yes I am alive! I've seen those headwarmer things and I think they are awesome but I haven't tried making one. We do have a set of sisters who are attending and I know one of them does those and she makes really nice ones. You should come with the whole family, they are going to have a TON of free activities for kids, it will be lots of fun.
